Forkstrong · Pushub Me LTD · Version 1 · Effective 1 October 2026

Forkstrong gives general training and nutrition guidance. It is not medical advice and not a medical device.

Check with a doctor first

Talk to a doctor before you start, or before you change how you train or eat, if any of these apply to you:

  • You are pregnant, have recently given birth or are breastfeeding.
  • You have a heart condition or chest pain, or have felt faint or dizzy during exercise.
  • You have high blood pressure.
  • You have kidney or liver disease, or diabetes.
  • You have, or have had, an eating disorder.
  • You take regular medication.
  • You have a joint, bone or muscle problem, or are recovering from an injury or surgery.

Stop at once and get medical help if you feel chest pain, severe breathlessness, dizziness or faintness while training.

While you train

  • Warm up before every session.
  • Start light. The first sessions are for finding your weights, not testing them.
  • Muscle burn and fatigue are normal. Sharp, pinching or joint pain is not: stop that exercise.
  • Stop at once and get help for chest pain, severe breathlessness, dizziness or faintness.

Calorie targets

Targets come from the Mifflin-St Jeor formula and your answers. They are a starting point, and the weekly check suggests changes from what your weight actually does. The app never plans a day below the highest of your resting energy use, 1,500 kcal for men or 1,200 kcal for women, and 75% of your maintenance.

Low body weight

If your weight is below the healthy range for your height (a BMI under 18.5), the app plans at least maintenance and never a calorie deficit. A very low body weight is a health risk in itself. Please see a doctor, and use the app only with their agreement.

Pregnancy and after a birth

If you are pregnant or have recently given birth, say so in the health check. The app then plans no calorie deficit and does not offer the fat-loss goal. Ask your midwife or doctor which exercises suit you now; some lifts and positions need changing.

Food, allergens and supplements

Food values are averages, and your product may differ. Diet and allergen information in the app is a help, not a guarantee: always check the label. Supplement notes are general information, not a recommendation.

If food, weight or exercise feels hard to control

You are not alone, and help works. Talk to your doctor, or find a free, confidential helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. If you are in danger now, call your local emergency number. You can turn weigh-in reminders off in Settings → Reminders.
